Weekly News Post
1. Meta AI
One of the most interesting things I came across this week was an
article about Meta AI's Segment Anything technology. I read the article on my
mobile phone and couldn't find it later when I got home, but I was impressed by
the concept.
Basically, Segment Anything allows users to instantly layer an
unseen image as if using Photoshop to cut out a part of the picture. Users can
upload photos in real-time and immediately view various layers of the image,
and can select specific parts by clicking or using text search. The technology
can even be used in augmented reality to layer objects in the real world.

Apple VR Headset
https://appleinsider.com/inside/apple-vr
This report
talks about the AR Headset that Apple may mention or release at this year's
conference. I think it could be really cool if wearing the Headset on the head
and then slide out some interfaces with your fingers like in the game. But this
report is still predicting, and we will have to wait until Apple's conference this year to see the results.
